Information for Trainers

To Register in the system as a Trainer, you must perform the following steps

• Register with the web logbook as a logbook user.

N.B. If you have previously registered to make payments with the JCHST website for surgical training or with the OCAP site, then you can use this username and password to gain access to the logbook.

• You then instruct your trainees to authorise your access to their logbook data. They perform this by going to the Security area of their web logbook and granting you access, you will need to provide your GMC number to your trainee for this.
• You will then be able to see a consolidation of their operative data when you next logon to the web logbook and looking in the training area of the logbook.
