Paying for the logbook
Ultimately the SBNS has agreed to pay the logbook subscription costs of its members. This would include associate and full members but not neurosurgeons who have failed to pay for SBNS membership. It is envisaged that free access to the logbook will be accessed via the SBNS website.

Currently (Aug 2006) the membership controls on the SBNS website are not fully developed. Therefore at the moment the SBNS is not able to buy access for its members. We hope that this will all be set up by 1st Jan 2007 when SBNS membership fees become due.

For the time being (2006) Neurosurgeons using the logbook are asked to support the logbook by paying £30 per annum. This payment gets you access to the analysis features. Those not wishing to contribute may still use the logbook free of charge but the analysis will not be available.
