Latest Release News

The launch of the new client software represented the culmination of over three years of development and testing by a very small team of individuals. Inevitably, despite all this hard work, users have identified a number of issues since the release of the new software. Since the launch of the software over 500 people have used the support tabs displayed in the margins of the screen to raise issues and comment on the functionality of the new software. Although that is over 500 people, many of the comments are duplicates raising the same issue.

We are working our way through this list, and trying to do so in a manner that resolves some of the more major concerns first. This will take some time, and there will be a number of updates to the software over the coming months as we work our way through this list. I would therefore ask users to bear with us while we work our way through this list.

The operation count on the summary page of the operation group report has been fixed so that correctly reflects the user's operation.
When adding a new operation, the site will now prepopulate the consultant with current user.
Robotic Surgery wording has been updated from RoboticSurgery to Robotic Surgery.
You can now apply multiple date periods on your Filters.
You can now apply filters to the browse operations page.
Current specialty on the user details page has been hidden from non-core specialty users.
We have fixed an issue affecting validation of user operations on the My Trainees page.

Main Users:

It is now possible to record a procedure with an unknown consultant.
When adding an operation, you can now also add non logbook user as a consultant.
When adding an operation, when you search for a cons, the cons is now saved.
Operations can now be filtered for Non-Logbook user consultants.
You can now reset your pin.
An issue where users who had forward slashes in their username received an error when trying to validate has been fixed.
An issue in relation to the number of criteria in a filter has been fixed.
Changes to the column layout in the SAC report.

Director Access:

Trainer reports for TPD's and procedure by trainer report now working.

Main users:

SAC report for general surgery now displays column for assisted.
SAC report groups with age limits now display.
Date ordering in browse operations now displaying correct .
Consultants now displaying correctly when editing an operation.
Favourites now display in alphabetical order.
Operation date and consultant are now carried forward to the next operation.
When adding a Paediatric operation, Gestation is no longer a required field.
